My life: an untold story

My life has twists and turns like that in a thriller or like that in a comedy movie
It seems like I could write a book on it or a motion picture that tells my story.

It is funny how it suddenly turns unexpectedly, does things I never expect would happen
And then when I am just about happy with the surprises, it drives me into a lane of melancholy

It doesn’t pace up the events I want to be over with soon enough and the ones I wish to live don’t last
And when I pause and reflect, I see like it is an amusing journey

Of a person who walks alone but sometimes has a person to keep them company
Like it were a story I had read, or something I had seen in a movie

So now I get back to acting my part of a protagonist (a powerful one I wish to see her as),
As this, will continue to be written as I live my years and complete only when I myself become history.
