An unaccomplished task...

Close my eyes and shut down life
But my thoughts drown me
My lips are sealed, there is silence all around
Yet the feeling tears me down.

There was bliss a moment back
Which was followed by an abyss
The fervor burnt me down, it was not mine to deal
The horizon was far beyond, the weariness took me down.

The shining yellow overtaking the noir
The chirping shrill taking away the ominous lull
Even then it was far from a blissful dawn, the waves were raging inside
It is only a matter of time when i shall be riding the tide, only a matter of time when in it i shall drown.

I need mo mercy, pity is not what i want
Leave me to walk this boulevard on my own
It is not you who taught me how to walk
What made you think it is you who i need to bring me up for you have never been around?

I was here is what i need to set in stone
There was more to me than my presence is what i want to prove
There shall always be a part trying to win this hurdle race
But i might give up in a heartbeat, if i even for an instance believe, i never really deserved the crown..
